Longueuil Police investigating ‘suspicious death’ after body found on balcony

Longueuil Police (SPAL) are investigating a “suspicious death” in the Vieux-Longueuil area — on Montreal’s South Shore — overnight.
Shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, the SPAL was called to a building on Green Street after an unconscious man was found on a balcony.
They said that the man was quickly treated by officers and transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“Considering this incident to be a suspicious death, a scene is currently being secured, and investigators, accompanied by the Forensic Identification Section, will attend the scene to clarify the circumstances of this death,” the SPAL wrote on social media.
