Two Montreal teens wanted after Kitchener carjacking

By Luke Schulz

Arrest warrants have been issued for two Montreal teens in connection with a mid-February vehicle theft in the region.

Waterloo regional police say those two suspects stole a Range Rover in the area of King Street South and Andrew Street in Kitchener on Feb. 12.

Police say the two suspects waited in the area for some time before assaulting the owners of the vehicle as they exited a business.

One of those victims sustained minor physical injuries as a result of the interaction.

The accused stole the keys for the 2024 green Range Rover from the victims, fleeing the area in the stolen SUV.

Working alongside Toronto police, local officials have identified the two suspects as a 19-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, both from Montreal.

Arrest warrants for robbery with violence and theft of a motor vehicle have been issued for those suspects.
