Man drove vehicle through doors of Laval Police headquarters Saturday, no one injured

A 29-year-old man drove his vehicle through the doors of the Laval Police (SPL) headquarters on Saturday afternoon.

On April 26, around 4:30 p.m., the man was arrested for mischief and interviewed by investigators.

“He did not resist arrest,” Erika Landry, a SPL spokesperson told CityNews. “He remained in custody for his appearance.”

No one was injured.

“The doors of the Headquarters were secured following the incident,” said Landry. “The vehicle was handed over for examination.”

On April 29, suspect Zakaria Sadji appeared before the Court of Quebec on a charge of mischief.

He was released pending further legal proceedings.
