Shots fired at home in Nuns’ Island

Montreal Police (SPVM) is investigating shots fired toward a home in the Verdun borough on Nuns’ Island Sunday evening.

The shots were reported to the SPVM around 10:10 p.m., coming from de la Sagittaire Street, near de la Vigne Street.

“According to initial information, suspects fired shots into the residence and then fled on foot before the police arrived,” explained Constable Caroline Chèvrefils, spokesperson for the SPVM.

Adults and children were in the residence at the time of the shots, but no one was injured. Projectile impacts were located on the windows.

A security perimeter has been set up around the targeted residence so that the SPVM can conduct its investigation into this case.
