Service interrupted on Montreal’s Blue metro line during morning commute

By News Staff

Electrical equipment failure caused Montreal’s Blue metro line to experience service interruptions on Thursday morning between Snowdon and Saint-Michel stations.

The service was initially expected to resume at 8:15 a.m., however in an updated post shared on X, the STM said that it should be back around 9:15 a.m.

Passengers were urged to use a special bus service as an alternative.

This bus service was running between Snowdon and Saint-Michel métro stations.

Around 9:15 a.m. the service was returned to normal on the Blue line.
