Service interrupted on Montreal’s Blue metro line during morning commute

Electrical equipment failure caused Montreal’s Blue metro line to experience service interruptions on Thursday morning between Snowdon and Saint-Michel stations.
The service was initially expected to resume at 8:15 a.m., however in an updated post shared on X, the STM said that it should be back around 9:15 a.m.
Service interruption extended line 5 - BLUE between Snowdon and Saint-Michel. Electrical equipment failure. Service expected to resume at 9:15 AM. O

Passengers were urged to use a special bus service as an alternative.
This bus service was running between Snowdon and Saint-Michel métro stations.
Around 9:15 a.m. the service was returned to normal on the Blue line.
