Armed assault: Woman seriously injured in Saint-Hubert

A woman is in critical condition after an argument at a residence in Saint-Hubert, Longueuil.
The Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL) went to the residence located on Montée Saint-Hubert around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday night.
The victim, a woman in her 20s, knew her attacker, a man of similar age. Their conflict escalated into an altercation that led to an armed assault.
Upon SPAL’s arrival, she was taken to a hospital, where her condition is considered critical.
The man was arrested and could face charges of aggravated assault.
