It’s another rainy day for Montreal and it’s forecasted to stay that way over the weekend, but will sunshine make it’s grand return next week? Well, sort of.
In Montreal Friday morning, cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers.
Periods of rain then beginning near noon according to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), with a high of 12°C expected.
The wet weather trickling into Saturday with periods of rain. The mercury forecasted to remain stable at 12°C.
Come Sunday, a little break from our umbrellas — cloudy with a daytime high of 18°C.
Then 60 per cent chance of showers expected in the evening with a low of 10°C.
Sunshine making its grand return-ish
Montrealers can sing the nursery rhyme “Mr. Golden Sun” as warm weather is set to return to the city on Monday and Tuesday, but ECCC forecasting that wont last very long.
Sunny with a high of 22°C on Monday — and that sunshine is expected to continue beaming down on Tuesday with a daytime high of 24°C.
“Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. Golden Sun. Please shine down on me,” is sung in the popular children’s song — and well, Montrealers can sing it too on Wednesday as clouds are forecasted to cover the sky. Then 60 per cent chance of showers is mixed with that — and a high of 22°C.
For now, cloudy conditions also in the forecast for Thursday.
Perhaps if everyone sings loud enough, the sun will shine down on Montreal a little more than a few days next week.
