Highway 40 Eastbound shut for paving work this weekend

The Transport Ministry is advising road users that paving work will require the complete closure of the Metropolitain expressway eastbound (Highway 40), between the Côte-de-Liesse interchange and Highway 15 (Laurentian autoroute), this weekend. Quebec’s Transport Ministry is advising road users to avoid the area.
Traffic obstruction and management: Friday 11:30 pm to Monday 5 a.m.
-Complete closure between exit 65 – P.-É.-Trudeau / A-520 / R-117 / Côte-de-Liesse / Marcel-Laurin Blvd. and the southbound entrance from Highway 15 (Laurentian autoroute).
-Traffic will be diverted onto the service road (Côte-de-Liesse).

Default closures: Friday 11 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
-Entrance to Highway 40 wast from Cavendish Blvd;
-A-520 east ramp to Highway 40 east;
-Entrance to Highway 40 east from Marcel-Laurin Blvd;
-Highway 40 wast ramp to Highway 15 (Decarie) south;
-Highway 15 (Decarie) north ramp to Highway 40 east;
-Highway 40 east entrance at Sainte-Croix;
-Exit 68 – Stinson / Ch. Rockland / l’Acadie Blvd. from Highway 40 east;
-Highway 40 east ramp to Highway 15 (Laurentian autoroute) north;
-Exit 71 – R-335 / St-Laurent Blvd. / St-Denis from Highway 40 east

The following optional routes are suggested: Highway 13 and 440, highways 20 or 30.
In the event of adverse weather conditions or operational constraints, this closure will be postponed. At least one other weekend of intensive paving work is planned, again eastbound. This will be announced as soon as it is confirmed,” says Transport Quebec.
