Senior struck by vehicle in St-Leonard

A 75-year-old woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Montreal’s Saint-Leonard borough.
The collision occurred around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Bélanger and Valdombre streets. Emergency responders found the woman with upper body injuries and transported her to hospital in critical condition.
Her condition has since stabilized, and she is no longer in life-threatening danger.
Montreal police (SPVM) cordoned off the area to investigate the scene, but the intersection has since reopened to traffic.
The exact cause of the collision remains under investigation.
