Warm weekend in store in Montreal as St-Jean forecast promises sunshine and heat

After a damp start to Friday, clearer skies are on the horizon, setting up a warm and mostly pleasant weekend.
Saturday will start off sunny before transitioning to a mix of sun and cloud by the afternoon, with a high of 26°C and a very high UV index.
Rain is expected to return overnight and linger into Sunday, bringing showers and a slightly cooler high of 25°C.
Looking ahead to the start of next week, the heat ramps up significantly.
Monday will be sunny and hot with a high of 32°C, followed by even warmer conditions on St-Jean, when temperatures are expected to hit 33°C under mostly sunny skies. A chance of showers returns Tuesday night, but the day itself looks ideal for outdoor festivities.
