Canadiens move up in draft after trade with Bruins

Two Original Six rivals swapped picks Saturday at the 2025 NHL Draft.

The Montreal Canadiens moved up to the 69th pick at the draft after trading the 79th pick and the 108th pick to the Boston Bruins.

With that third-round selection, the Canadiens drafted centre Hayden Paupanekis from the Kelowna Rockets of the WHL.
