More sunshine for Montreal as temperatures set to rise over coming days

Montrealers woke up to more sunshine in the city on Tuesday, and temperatures are expected to climb over the coming days.

According to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), it’s set to be 24°C today with clear skies in the evening.

Come Wednesday, the mercury is going up, up, up — feeling more like 31°C with the humidex, and this will be mixed with continued sunny skies. In the evening, clear with comfortable temperatures at 19°C.

The heat is expected to keep rising for Thursday — sunny and a daytime high of 33°C in the forecast. ECCC then reporting that showers might come in at night, and this might be met with a low of 22°C.

That rain then trickling into Friday, the weather agency saying that showers will end the week with a daytime high of 26°C.

For now, sunshine is expected to return on Saturday, a high of 28°C.

Then a mix of sun and cloud on Sunday with more heat in the city as ECCC is forecasting 30°C as the daytime high.
