Heat wave on the way for Montreal

A heat wave is on the way for Montreal, with at least five consecutive days of high temperatures in the forecast.
Montrealers can expect daytime highs to hit at least 30-degrees Celsius from Friday to Tuesday, before temperatures dip slightly on Wednesday.
On Friday, a high of 30 C is in the forecast – though temperatures will reach 35 C with the Humidex – with a mix of sun and clouds.
The daytime high will again hover around 30 C on Saturday.
Things gets hotter on Sunday and Monday, with highs hitting 33 C and 34 C respectively.
A high of 31 will cap off the heat wave on Tuesday, with showers also in the forecast that day.
