Montreal police investigating 2 vehicle fires overnight

It was a busy night for Montreal police (SPVM) as two separate vehicle fires are being investigated.
Dorval
Police received a 911 call at around 12:10 a.m. about a vehicle in a parking lot on Côte-de-Liesse Expressway, near Calais Ave. in Dorval.
By the time the firefighters arrived, they saw that the fire had spread to three vehicles.
After extinguishing the flames, officers found that all three vehicles were completely destroyed. No injuries or other property damages were reported.
The police identified at least one suspect using video from the surveillance camera, who fled the site by foot.
The case was transferred to the SPVM arson squad and investigators are expected at the site of the incident this morning for further analysis to determine the cause of the fire.
Côte-St.Luc
In another incident, a 911 call was received at around 2:05 a.m. about a parked vehicle on fire in a parking lot on chemin Guelph near Edgemore Ave. in Cote-St.Luc.
When the firefighters arrived, they were able to control the fire quickly. However, they found that the vehicle was fully destroyed.
No injuries or other property damages were reported.
This incident is also being investigated by the arson squad of the SPVM.
