Montreal’s Place des Arts was buzzing with excitement last night as the Esteriore Brothers, a popular Italian group, gave a magical performance which included a show-stopping collaboration with choir students from Pierre de Coubertin Elementary School.
The four real-life brothers were already electrifying the crowd with their powerful vocals and stage presence when they introduced the choir to the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier stage mid-show.
“These young performers not only sang beautifully, they showed incredible growth, courage, and heart,” said PDC’s music teacher, Maria Concetta Alongi. “They weren’t just singing, they were shining.”

This unforgettable collaboration was born out of a beautiful idea — when Alongi sent the brothers a video of the students singing an Italian song last year. Her goal: hoping to have the group visit their school in Montreal’s Saint-Leonard.
The brothers were so impressed that not only did they surprise students and staff with a visit back in May, they also invited the choir to perform live with them at their September concert downtown.
On Tuesday night, the idea became reality!
“This moment on stage meant so much to the entire Pierre de Coubertin community,” said Alongi. “It demonstrated exactly what our students are capable of when given the chance to express themselves through music.”
“A huge part of that inspiration came from the unforgettable presence of the Esteriore Brothers,” she added. “Whose energy and passion ignited something truly special in our school.”

Yesterday’s performance marked the brother’s third ever concert in Montreal since making their Canadian debut in the city last summer.
Not only was this one their first time at Place des Arts, it was also a first for them to have a choir share their stage.
“You can’t explain it, it’s pure hearted joy,” said Amadeo Esteriore on stage before the students began singing. “We never did that!”

Back in 2023, one of the brother’s spontaneous videos vent viral – and they rose to fame.
Today, their social media content has amassed over 1 billion views and 3 million followers.
“The Esteriore Brothers will forever hold a place in our students’ hearts,” said Alongi. “Not only have they sparked what we now lovingly call “Esteriore Brothers Mania” at PDC, but they’ve also inspired a new enthusiasm for Italian music.”
Tuesday was a night filled with music, smiles, and Montreal-Italian pride — proving once again that sometimes, all it takes is one video and a lot of heart to make dreams come true.
