19-year-old hospitalized after stabbing outside Laval movie theatre

A 19-year-old is in hospital after an armed assault outside of Laval’s Colossus movie theatre on Sunday night.

At around 9:55 p.m., Laval police (SPL) received a 911 call regarding the stabbing.

Upon arrival, a 19-year-old man was found at the scene with serious stab wounds.

“He was taken to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries,” the SPL told CityNews.

The Crimes Against Persons Unit has taken over the investigation.

“The crime scene was analyzed by investigators and crime scene technicians last night,” the SPL said.

No arrests have been made so far.
