Montreal hosts 24th annual Stroll & Dash Fundraiser: celebrating young superheroes

"As a former patient, I can give back," said former Sarah's Floor patient Claudia Martino, who volunteered at the 24th edition of Montreal's Stroll & Dash, a fundraiser for cancer patients at The Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Danyluk Park in Montreal’s town of Mount Royal was filled with smiles, races, and inspiration on Sunday. As the annual Stroll & Dash fundraiser was in full swing under the warm Montreal sun.

The event was hosted this year by CityNews’ Pamela Pagano. Stroll & Dash is the main fundraiser for Sarah’s Fund for Cedars.

Participants strolled and ran races to help raise funds and awareness, all while celebrating the young superheroes being treated on Sarah’s floor at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

Stroll & Dash has raised nearly $5 million since its inception.

The fund supports a variety of programs and services for Sarah’s fund for Cedars that help young patients, and their families, such as Dr. Clown and pet, music, and art therapy.

All ways to help cope with the stresses that may come with a cancer diagnosis and treatments.
