The interventions on Honoré-Mercier Bridge require the implementation of a partial obstruction. Transport Quebec says the bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction starting from Friday, 11 p.m. to Monday, 5 a.m.

Highway 25

The department of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility said that Highway 25 northbound will be closed between Exit 5 (Route 138, Sherbrooke Street, Yves-Prévost Boulevard) and the entrance from Yves-Prévost Boulevard during the night of Friday, 11 p.m. to Saturday, 8 a.m.

The entrances from Hochelaga St. and Sherbrooke St. E. will be closed 30 minutes before the highway closes.

The ministry noted the highway might once again be closed Saturday night, if needed to complete the work.

This closure is necessary in order to divert northbound lanes of Highway 25 to create a work zone.

In the event of poor weather conditions, the repair work might be cancelled or postponed. Drivers are advised to check Québec 511 to plan their trips accordingly.
