Federal budget: Quebec is dissatisfied with infrastructure investments

The Legault government is dissatisfied with the infrastructure investments in Quebec planned in the federal budget tabled on Wednesday.

Quebec Finance Minister Eric Girard communicated his dissatisfaction to his counterpart François-Philippe Champagne on Wednesday morning.

For his part, Premier François Legault also expressed in the House that he would have liked the federal government to invest more in infrastructure.

However, he welcomed Ottawa’s massive investments in Defence, expressing his hope that Quebec companies would get their share.
