Fog advisory for Montreal lifted

The fog and low visibility advisory issued for Thursday morning has been lifted.

Environment and Climate Change Canada issued a fog advisory for Thursday morning for the Greater Montreal area.

Forecasters had warned that visibilities will be significantly reduced in fog which could impact rush hour traffic. However, the fog was expected to clear by noon.

Drivers were advised to slow down and maintain a safe following distance.
