Light snow falls over Montreal Sunday as week begins with mild, cloudy conditions

Montreal picked up about two centimetres of snow on Sunday, with light flurries lingering into the evening before skies turned cloudy.

Temperatures will drop to around -1°C overnight.

Monday stays mainly cloudy with a high near 3°C, with 3°C holding Monday night.

Tuesday will bring more cloud cover and slightly milder air, reaching 5°C and a nighttime low of 2°C.

By Wednesday, expect cloudy skies with a 60 per cent chance of showers, and rain moving in Wednesday night with a low around 1°C.

As we head toward the end of November, drivers are reminded that December 1st is the deadline to have winter tires installed in Quebec.

Drivers without winter tires could face fines between $200 and $300.
