Highway 30 at Highway 10 to see lane closures for repair work over weekend

Transport Quebec says Montreal drivers can expect more delays over the coming weekend, as Highway 30 will see some lane closures.

Eastbound Highway 30 at Exit 67 — Montreal (downtown)/Sherbrooke — will be closed and diverted onto the service road, before returning to Highway 30 before the North Exit ramp 69 — Grande Allée, will be closed and diverted onto the service road from 10 p.m. on Dec. 5 until 5 a.m. on Dec. 8.

The lane closures will be to allow repair work to be conducted on the expansion joints of the Highway 10 overpass.

There is the potential that night closures will be in place on the service road of westbound Highway 10 at Highway 30, which would also see the closure of the ramps from Highway 30 westbound to Highway 10 westbound and from Highway 10 westbound to Highway 30 eastbound.

Detours will also be marked by temporary signage. Transport Quebec is reminding drivers to be vigilant and to follow the posted speed limit that is in effect.

Drivers are also reminded to check Quebec 511 prior to hitting the roads, as road work may be postponed based on weather.
