REM service on the Deux-Montagnes line has resumed after it was disrupted during the Wednesday morning commute due to a technical problem, forcing a full interruption and the deployment of shuttle buses.
At 7:05 a.m., REM officials reported a service slowdown between Ville-de-Mont-Royal and Deux-Montagnes toward A4–Deux-Montagnes because of a technical issue.
By 7:12 a.m., service was fully interrupted between Bois-Franc and Deux-Montagnes in both directions.
In an email to CityNews, Pulsar the REM’s operator said their teams were working on safe solutions to return to normal service and directed commuters to shuttle buses and metro services for alternate transportation.
The REM service was back up and running at 9 a.m.
