Montreal to begin snow removal operation Saturday

The City will begin its snow removal operations across all boroughs starting at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The City is urging Montrealers to follow posted signage to help the process and avoid having their vehicles towed.

In a press release Saturday, the City said about 2,500 snow plows and 3000 workers will take part in the operation.

Motorists can monitor operations in real time through the 311 Montréal app available on Apple and Android app stores.

Residents are asked to keep garbage bags and bins on their property and park about 30 centimetres from the curb with mirrors folded in.

A map of available incentive parking lots is also posted on the city’s website.
