Sûreté du Québec to set up command post for Liam Toman, who disappeared in Mont-Tremblant

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is asking the public for help in the disappearance of Liam Toman, who was last seen in Mont-Tremblant in the early hours of Feb. 2, 2025.

Investigators will set up a command post on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 151 Chemin Curé-Deslaurier, in the roundabout across from Tour des Voyageurs 2.

Police will be collecting information and speaking with anyone who may have witnessed something that could help the investigation.

Investigators say Toman is five-foot-nine, roughly 130 lbs., and has hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last seen near a hotel on Chemin Curé-Deslauriers around 3 a.m., wearing a black Volcom coat, black snow pants, a green sweater, a plaid shirt, a white toque with dark stripes, and brown work boots with black toes.

Authorities say his wallet was found by a citizen near parking lot P1 on Chemin des Voyageurs – and a shadow was seen on the surveillance camera that could be Toman.

In a recent interview, the man’s parents said they hoped someone who was at the resort around the same time might remember an important detail that could help them in their search.

They encourage the public to go through their phones and social media for pictures, text messages or conversations that might unearth new clues about the case.

In the open letter, Toman’s family is also asking anyone who was at the resort around Feb. 2 to report to police if they remember any “awkward situations” or interactions that could potentially be criminal.

Sun Youth, through anonymous donors, is offering the reward of up to $50,000, valid until May 20, 2026, to anyone with information that could help locate Toman.
