Two vehicles destroyed by fire overnight in Montreal West

Two vehicles parked in the driveway of a residence were destroyed in a suspected arson fire in Montreal West overnight Wednesday to Thursday.
Emergency services were called around 12:30 a.m. after the vehicles were reported engulfed in flames outside a home on Crestwood Avenue, near Sheraton Drive.
Montreal police say the damage to the vehicles is extensive and the fire also caused damage to the residence.
Police spokesperson Manuel Couture said incendiary elements found near the scene suggest the fire may have been deliberately set.
The vehicles were towed for forensic examination. No injuries were reported, and no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning. The investigation is ongoing.
