REM to remain open February 15

Riders of Montreal’s light-rail network will no longer have to scramble this Sunday to find alternative ways to get around.

The REM was initially supposed to be closed all day Sunday, Feb. 15, for “routine maintenance.”

But Pulsar, the REM’s operator, says that will no longer be the case “thanks to an adjustment in the work schedule,” and the REM will operate as usual.

The REM will still close early on Feb. 27, though. On that day, the last train will leave the Brossard station at 8 p.m., and the Deux-Montagnes station at 8:10 p.m.

Information on schedules and more can be found online.
