Quebec’s Transport Ministry says Highway 19, including the Papineau-Leblanc Bridge, which connects Montreal and Laval, will see closures during the day this weekend.
The disruptions are needed to carry out asphalting work on the left lane of the bridge in both directions, the Ministry said.
Saturday, March 7, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Highway 19 will be fully closed southbound between Highway 440 (Jean-Noël-Lavoie) and Henri-Bourassa Boulevard. However, Saint-Martin Boulevard will remain accessible.
Highway 19 will also be closed northbound between Henri-Bourassa and De la Concorde Boulevards.
Sunday, March 8, 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Highway 19 will be closed in the northbound direction between Henri-Bourassa and De la Concorde Boulevards.

To travel between Montreal and Laval, road users can take the Médéric-Martin Bridge (A-15) or the Pie-IX Bridge (R-125). Detour routes will be marked with temporary signage.
The roadwork could be rescheduled or cancelled if weather conditions do not allow for it.
Drivers are asked to consult Québec 511 before heading out on those routes.
