Montreal weather: Milder days, chilly nights and cocktail weather ahead this week

Montrealers woke up to a chilly Monday morning with wind chill reaching minus-13 Celsius.
The day will see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 2 C, becoming cloudy later in the afternoon.
There is also a 60 per cent chance of flurries this evening, but the cloud cover will clear by midnight. Tonight’s low will be minus-8 with a wind chill of minus-13 overnight.
Tuesday will be sunny but will be increasingly cloudy in the afternoon. Temperature will be a high of 4 C and gusts of up to 40 kilometres per hour is possible around noon. Evening will see periods of clouds with a low minus-5.
Wednesday will again see a mix of sun and cloud with a daytime high of 2 C. But forecasters say periods of snow is possible in the evening, with a low minus-2 C.
Thursday could see cocktail weather with periods of snow or rain while the daytime high of 6 C. Evening will be rainy as the temperatures dip to minus-9 C.
Clouds clear up to end the work week with sunny weather expected Friday, but cold weather remains with a high of minus-4 C and a low of minus-14 C.
