Showers and the risk of thunderstorms are expected to move through southern Quebec on Monday before giving way to several days of hot, sunny weather.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) forecasts mainly cloudy skies Monday, with a few showers beginning early in the day and a risk of thunderstorms. Temperatures are expected to reach 24 Celsius, with the humidex making it feel more like 33.

Skies are expected to clear overnight, with a low of 16 C.
Sunshine returns Tuesday, with a high of 27 C and a humidex of 32, before temperatures climb even higher Wednesday, when the mercury is expected to reach 30 C under sunny skies.
Clouds are forecast to increase Thursday, bringing a 60 per cent chance of showers Thursday night and into Friday. Daytime highs are expected to remain in the mid-to-high 20s.
The weekend is expected to feature a mix of sun and cloud, with temperatures rebounding to around 30 C on Saturday and 29 C on Sunday.
