Samuel De Champlain Bridge southbound closed this weekend for repairs

Motorists wanting to go to the South Shore this weekend will have to take another route, since the Samuel De-Champlain Bridge will be completely closed southbound due to road repairs.

The bridge will be closed southbound (towards Brossard) from Friday at 11 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.

The following weekend, the northbound span (towards downtown) will be closed for road surface work.

Drivers are urged to plan their trips by choosing alternative routes or taking public transit.

A detour will be set up on the Turcot interchange via Route 136 East and Route 134, and via the Jacques-Cartier Bridge and Route 132.

The following closures will be in place for this period:

  • Highway 15 South- Highway 20 East will be closed from exit 63-O to the Highway 132 East entrance ramp for Highway 10 E (Ramp E);
  • Closure of the access ramp from Girouard Avenue to Highway 15 South;
  • Closure of the exit ramp 68 from Highway 20 East toward Highway 15 North and Highway 15 South (ramps G and J);
  • Closure of the exit ramp toward the A-15 south from the exit ramp 1-S of Highway 20 East/Blvd. Décarie/Saint-Rémi Street (Ramp M);
  • Closure of exit ramp 62 from Highway 15 South toward Boulevard de La Vérendrye (default);
  • Closure of the entrance ramp from La Vérendrye Boulevard to Highway 15 South;
  • Closure of the exit 61 ramp from Highway 15 South toward Atwater Avenue (default);
  • Channeling from the Atwater Avenue entrance ramp to the 60 exit ramp toward Gaétan-Laberge Boulevard;
  • Channeling of the Gaétan-Laberge entrance ramp toward Highway 15 South to the 57-S exit ramp on Île-des-Sœurs Boulevard;
  • Closure of the exit ramp 57-N from Highway 15 South toward Chemin de la Pointe-Nord (default);
  • Closure of the exit ramp 6 from Highway 10 East toward Highway 20 East/Highway 15 South/Highway 132 (default);
  • Closure of Exit 4 of Highway 10 East;
  • Closure of Exit 5 of Highway 10 East (default);
  • Closure of access to Highway 15 South from L’Île-des-Sœurs Boulevard;
  • Closure of Champlain Bridge Street from René-Lévesque Boulevard.
