Quebec Liberal Party will launch its election campaign next Thursday

By The Canadian Press

Although calling an election is the prerogative of the CAQ government, the Quebec Liberal Party (PLQ) will launch its campaign on Aug. 27.

The Liberals will begin their campaign in the Quebec City region, which is also where they will set up their headquarters.

The Liberals will then travel to Sherbrooke for an official launch Thursday evening.

The PLQ will campaign under the slogan “Unite. Repair. Build.”

Liberal leader Charles Milliard is expected to make an economic announcement on Friday in Lévis.

All political parties are gearing up for the imminent launch of the election campaign.

Candidate announcements are coming fast, and political parties have already begun to outline their promises.
