Lotto Max jackpot jumps to record-breaking $90M prize in Quebec

Quebecers could make history on Friday by winning the next Lotto Max draw: a prize pool of $108 million, including a record jackpot of $90 million.

The Oct. 16 draw could also create up to 18 instant millionaires thanks to the Maxmillions prizes in play, in addition to awarding 90 prizes of $100,000 each, says Loto-Québec.

“Loto-Québec has already crowned more than 110 millionaires since the beginning of the year,” said Isabelle Jean, executive vice-president and COO of lottery games at Loto-Québec.

“Let’s hope our luck continues with the $90 million Lotto Max jackpot. This record-breaking prize could make a difference for a number of families here in Quebec,” Jean added.

According to the latest figures, Québec Lotto Max players have won more than $4.371 billion in total prizes, including 54 jackpot wins.

Among those jackpots are three $70-million prizes, the largest jackpots ever won in Québec. Those winning draws took place on Feb. 25 and Oct. 9, 2020, and June 7, 2022.
