B.C. marks an official day of mourning, as the RCMP reveals the names of the victim’s from Tuesday’s mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge. Erica Natividad has more on the town’s struggle to cope, and the prime minister’s upcoming visit to the town.

Canadians were feasting on coffee AND hockey this morning, with both of our Olympic teams in action. But as Brandon Choghri tells us, that was overshadowed by a big medal haul in some of the other sports.

“A certain and obvious value for us,” said Quebec Liberal interim leader Marc Tanguay, referring to the party’s investigation into a vote-buying scandal, which concluded that there was no evidence to support the allegations. Zachary Cheung reports.
