25-year-old electrocuted while working in Laval

A 25-year-old man was electrocuted and died on Tuesday morning, while working in the backyard of a home in Laval.
It happened around 6:50 a.m., at a residence on des Prairies Blvd., in the Laval-des-Rapides district.
The worker was reportedly working on a sprinkler pump when he was electrocuted.
He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) has dispatched inspectors to the scene to establish the circumstances of the workplace accident.
The investigation will be conducted in collaboration with Laval police.
