A vehicle ended up in the front lawn of a home in Brossard on Thursday morning.

It happened around 7:45 a.m., while Longueuil police were conducting a speed enforcement operation in the Milan Blvd. area of Brossard.

“A vehicle, travelling at more than twice the speed limit in a 30 km/h zone, veered off the road and rolled over a few hundred metres after an officer signaled his intention to intercept it,” wrote the force in a Facebook post.

“Fortunately, no one was injured as a result. However, the driver is liable to receive a number of fines under the Highway Safety Code for speeding and failing to stop at a stop sign. He could also be charged with other offences.”
