Longueuil police seek possible victims of man accused of sex crimes on minor

LONGUEUIL, Qc – The Longueuil Police force (SPAL) is asking for the public’s help to locate potential victims of a 49-year-old man accused of sex crimes on a minor.
Nilton Carreiro was arrested on October 3, and faces charges of luring of a person 16 and under over the Internet, sexual contact and obtaining sexual services from a minor in return for payment.
He was released on bail, under a number of conditions, including being prohibited from being in the presence of a minor and using social media.
SPAL believes Nilton Carreiro may have committed illegal acts towards minors in Longueuil and elsewhere in Quebec. Police report that he approached his victims on social media, including OMEGLE and Snapchat, using the username Natethetate.
SPAL is asking anyone with information about Nilton Carreiro to contact its investigators confidentially by calling 450-463-7211.
