To collect information from the public, a mobile command post will be set up Feb. 15, between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the intersection of de l’Assomption Blvd. and Pierre-de Coubertin Avenue, which is near the crime scene.

Investigators will be on-site and they’re inviting anyone who has information – or who may have witnessed the attack – to speak with them.

On Nov. 25, 2023, around 4 p.m., the suspect presented himself as a police officer, allegedly arresting two people who were exploring a building under construction.

Pretending that he was conducting security of the building, he allegedly held them against their will and committed sexual acts on one of them.
