Motorcyclist killed in Boucherville; Longueuil police investigating

A motorcyclist died Monday morning in Boucherville, on Montreal’s South Shore, after veering off the road.

Emergency services were notified around 6:10 a.m. that a motorcyclist had been involved in an accident on Chemin de Bretagne, near Boulevard de Montarville.

“A man was found at the scene, dead, near the motorcycle,” said Const. François Boucher, a spokesperson for Longueuil police (SPAL).

As of Monday morning, Longueuil police were unable to determine the cause of the accident. An investigation is underway, Boucher says.
