Man dies after workplace accident in Pointe-Claire

A 37-year-old man is dead after a workplace accident in Pointe-Claire on Thursday.

Montreal police (SPVM) received a call to 911 around 2:20 p.m. about an incident at Diversified Ulbrich on 20 Hymus Blvd.

When officers arrived, officers pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The worker was reportedly crushed by steel rollers.

The Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) has opened an investigation alongside the SPVM.
