Montreal police investigate possible shooting in Montreal North

Police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired Friday afternoon near the intersection of Lapierre Avenue and Pascal Street, in Montreal North.

A police spokesperson said a call came in around 3:30 p.m. for reports of a fight between several youths.

When police arrived at the scene, no suspects or victims were found and SPVM say the suspects fled before the police arrived.

According to witnesses interviewed by Montreal police, a shot was fired, but no shell casings were found.

The scene was blocked off by investigators and surveillance footage will be reviewed as part of the investigation.
