An SUV crashed into a Kinatex physiotherapy clinic on Bélanger Street in the St-Leonard borough Thursday afternoon. One person was taken to hospital in critical condition, but later stabilized.
The vehicle could be seen fully inside the clinic – with the front windows of the location completely smashed in and glass everywhere.

Calls came into 911 around 2pm about the incident.
A 59-year-old woman was trapped under the vehicle when officers arrived – she was conscious – and quickly attended to by paramedics.
She was transported to hospital with upper and lower body injuries.
The driver, a 31-year-old woman, was treated on the scene for shock.
Police say initial information leads them to believe that the driver was attempting to park her vehicle when she made a false maneuver and crashed into the clinic.

Authorities have met with witnesses and are working to view any surveillance footage from the area to better understand what may have happened.
Five people total were taken care of by Urgences-santé. A woman in her 40s was also transported to hospital, but with minor injuries, while the other three people were evaluated onsite – according to Benjamin Dansereau, spokesperson for Urgences-santé.
