Longueuil police arrest 4 in attempted cell phone store robbery

Longueuil police (SPAL) arrested four individuals, including three minors, on Wednesday evening as part of an investigation into thefts occurring in cell phone stores.

At around 6 p.m., the SPAL said that the Investigations Division, assisted by the GTI (Tactical Intervention Group), intervened in the Greenfield Park area, near Taschereau Blvd., preventing a robbery at a nearby cell phone store.

“Among the four individuals arrested were one adult and three minors,” the SPAL said. “They could face charges of robbery, wearing a disguise for dangerous purposes, and conspiracy.”
