Montreal AI-powered app translates infant’s crying into words

“In simple words, it’s the equivalent to Shazam for baby cries,” said Khaled Said, product vice-president at Ubenwa Health. The Montreal-based company has developed an app that can translate a baby’s cries into words. Farah Mustapha reports.
