Montreal teen stabbed in Mercier

A Montreal teen is in hospital after police say a conflict degenerated and he was stabbed in the upper body.
Calls coming into 911 around 3:20 p.m. on Thursday afternoon about the incident. It happened at the intersection of Rosemont and Carignan in Mercier.
The 15-year-old victim was in critical condition, but by 7:40 p.m. authorities confirmed he was stable and they do not fear for his life.

Police set up a perimeter as they investigated and try to understand more about the circumstances.
