Montreal police are investigating after shots were fired targeting a residence in Rivière-des-Prairies—Pointe-aux-Trembles overnight. Authorities say no one was injured.

Around 11:30 p.m., a white-coloured vehicle with four individuals on board was seen and SPVM report one of the people inside fired multiple times towards a home on Jean-Darcet Ave., near Charles-Renard.

Bullet impacts were found on the façade of the residence and on two cars parked nearby.

The car then fled the scene.

This is second shooting in the area this week, after bullet impacts were found on the exterior of a daycare on André Ampère Ave. on Tuesday.
