Man and woman charged in Longueuil violent death of Manon Boisvert

A 46-year-old man and 36-year-old woman were charged on Thursday with second-degree murder in the violent January death of a Longueuil woman that had been found lifeless in her car.
The pair were arrested on Wednesday and appeared in court today.
The body of Manon Boisvert, 54, was discovered by a passerby on Jan. 5 around 1:30 p.m. She was in a parked car, in a commercial lot near Rolland-Therrien Blvd. and du Tremblay Road. Her body had marks of violence on it police said at the time and she had likely been killed a few days before on Jan. 2.

During the investigation, authorities had said Boisvert had been specifically targeted.
And on Thursday, they confirmed the two suspects knew the woman – as having been customers who bought narcotics from her.
