Man injured in Montreal North shooting Friday night: SPVM

Montreal police are investigating after shots were fired in Montreal North late Friday night, leaving a 27-year-old man with minor injuries.

Officers received reports about shots being fired towards a group of people at around 11:25 p.m. near the intersection of Lapierre Street and Maurice-Duplessis Boulevard.

Multiple shell casings and impact marks on vehicles were found on scene.

Police say no suspect has been located.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was not taken to hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
