Deux-Montagnes police are investigating whether a shooting that occurred in a residential area could be connected to another incident involving the son of Tony Accurso.
A family home on 15th avenue near Boulevard du Lac was shot at very early Wednesday morning.
On the scene, police found two vehicles and a home had been shot at.
Four children under the age of ten and their parents were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
They were not injured and are not known to police.
TVA is reporting Tony Accurso’s son lives on the same street and his vehicle was lit on fire there in July.
Accurso, a former construction entrepreneur, was found to be part of a system of fraudulent public contracts given by the City of Laval when former Mayor Gilles Vaillancourt was in power.
Both men were found guilty of corruption and fraud among other charges.
