20-year-old man shot in Laval parking lot, suspect arrested

A 32 year-old man has been arrested following an attempted murder in Laval on Monday night.

Police received 911 calls just before 7 p.m. Monday about a man who had been shot in a commercial parking lot located in the Duvernay district.

The 20-year-old victim was met with investigators after being treated in hospital.

Police believe it was a transaction between the suspect and victim that went wrong.

The investigation is ongoing.
